Priceline Hotel: 3* Syracuse (Liverpool) Comfort Inn and Suites Syracuse Airport

Using BB's PRICELINE link, I bid:

All at 3* level:

$45 for Syracuse-Liverpool; rejected

Added one re-bid zone at $50; rejected

Added second re-bid zone at $55; rejected

Added third re-bid zone at $60; accepted for Comfort Inn & Suites Syracuse airport

Thanks to Better Bidding, I knew that the Comfort Inn was a 3* possibility (thank you!). So I knew and accepted that I might get this hotel. But I'm still not happy that Priceline uses the "Upscale 3*" star level -- which they advertise as including hotels like Hyatt, Four Points, Courtyard, Double Tree, and Hotel Indigo -- for a chain that they themselves identify as only a 2*. It just seems misleading.

Comfort Inn's web site had this at $89, so at least I'm still saving some money.
