From your hotwire list of hotels, I think it's the St. James, what do you think? If it is, any input on this hotel? We won the TRYP about a week ago for $152/night (2 rooms) and now friends want to stay with us, but the deal is no longer going on. Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Do you know which hotel this is? its in MSG/HK, 2.5 star but 90% recommended. only amenties listed are free internet, high speed internet access. Price is 220 which is the best i can find for September. is it candlewood suites? Thanks!

I'm trying to help family with a less expensive hotel for a wedding. They have booked the Carlton (w/ability to cancel) for $242/night under the wedding block. We got a Hotwire deal on the TRYP for $152/night and are trying to find something similar. The event will be held in the Flat Iron district. They simply want a safe, clean place to stay (no hostels) in a convenient location. Thank you.

HOTWIRE has what appears to be The Marcel at Gramercy for $184/nite, which they may be able to walk to the wedding depending upon where wtihin the Flatiron district the event is taking place... would this work for their plans?
