thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! If you go back to HOTWIRE and click each of these offers, then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more amenities than what you've posted above? Also, for the last property you indicated 2rooms/6people.. is this the same occupancy you're using for all the offers above? If not, how many rooms/guests do you actually need OR has everyone in the group not committed yet? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB
Yes there is Accessible for the deaf for #1.Is there ways to see what room type does HotWire offers?Or is it ususally the standard guest room ?And yes, i'll remember to use your link to book :)Thank youA trade-off for the discounted rates is that you are not guaranteed a specific room type. HOTWIRE and PRICELINE reservations are almost always for a standard/non-upgraded room. Requests can be made at check-in but the hotel can say no or charge more.6. I'd guess Vdara or Four Seasons7. I'd lean towards Four Seasons.2. The Four Seasons does not have a casino. You can find the list of HOTWIRE hotels reported to the board here (including the amenities that have been reported with each): Hotwire Hotel List Nevada.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. TinaW
Hello,I am interested in booking hotel through PRICELINE EXPRESS. I see that some of the link will give me hints and options to select the room type like "Encore-Resort Suite King" when I search under Las Vegas Strip - North. Can I be confident that this is for sure a booking at Encore Hotel? Or it could still be any 5 stars hotel on the northern part of the Strip?Another example is "City Room" or "Terrace Studio" when I search 5 Stars Las Vegas Strip - South. Is this for sure the Cosmopolitian? For Cosmopolitian, the most basic room is the "City Room" which comes with 2 Queen Beds. However on PriceLine Express, it listed the option as "City Room - 1 Bed Requested", does it mean I should still get 2 queens bed? or will they purposly switch it out to 1 king bed bedroom?Thank you Link to comment
AaronJB
Please keep all posts regarding this stay within this thread. If you would like us to try to ID a PRICELINE Express listing, please list the complete details (star rating, zone, price, amenities showing) for each listing. If a listing notes one bed requested then one bed is the likely result. Are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. TinaW
Hi,Thank you for your reply.I don't know why they write the Room type name on the PriceLine Express.I also wrote an email to PriceLine regarding this, and this is their reply:It is not guaranteed that you will be booked at the Encore Hotel if you see a room type like "Encore-Resort Suite King" under Express Deals. You can receive any hotel in the given area with the amenities listed. Also, note that the hotel chain examples listed on our site are provided to illustrate what you might expect when choosing a certain Star Level from priceline.com. We do indicate that the brands shown are only examples and may not be part of the priceline program. So if we don't look at the Room Type name...base on the Amenities, are you able to ID them for me please ?Thank you Link to comment
thereuare
The Cosmopolitan has never been reported to the board thru PRICELINE EXPRESS, and the amenities of the Strip South property match every 5* hotel that has a casino (you can exclude the 5* hotels that don't have as casino)... other than that you're going to need to take a leap of faith. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. TinaW
Hi,Just wondering, for HotWire Oct13-16, What are all the possible hotels could this deal be??If you can name all the hotels that fit under these amenities , it'll be super helpful :D2.) 5-Star South: $137.00 USD --85% Recommanded, TA 4.02 Rooms, 4 PeopleFree Parking Pet friendly Casino Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travelIn-Room AccessibilityWheelchair accessibleAccessible bathroomHandicapped ParkingRoll-in Shower Link to comment
thereuare
If you can name all the hotels that fit under these amenities...We can't see the hotel name either, so this could be any 5* hotel in the zone that offers those amenities. However, the Cosmopolitan, which you said is the hotel you were hoping for, has previously been reported to the board with this exact amenity set, and no other hotel in this zone has been seen with this exact amenity set, which would make the Cosmopolitan our best guess.I think the real decision you need to make is whether you're comfortable with an opaque purchase. While all signs (imo) point to this being the Cosmopolitan, there are no guarantees, so you need to decide if you're willing to take the leap of faith in exchange for the rate offered. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
