Sadly disappointed in this one. Should have guessed that the price was too good to be true. Booked on hotwire to ensure getting an airport shuttle as my only must have - while possibly correct I feel misled. The advertised shuttle is actually a bus service that stops at multiple hotels and costs $ 6 pp with 4 people it will double the cost of the stay to get to and from the hotel.

Sorry to see that you're disappointed with the outcome.

Many of the LHR hotels use this bus service and HOTWIRE states in the amenity description for shuttle "an additional charge may apply".

Just FYI for other bidders all of the hotels on Bath Rd (the majority in the area) can be reached by free public transit. By the time it is all done I could have book at one of these hotels in a non-opaque booking and actually paid less.

The frustration comes from the fact that all hotels can be reached by the Hoppa bus service (which is not a shuttle in my opinion). I chose to book because this one listed "airport shuttle" as an amenity while most other Heathrow hotels shown did not.
