djoz187
Hi all,Late night question. I'd like to book a room Strip South for 5/26. I see in the Priceline Express Deals there is a 4 Star Hotel for $71 (save 55% or more), includes free parking, casino, fitness, pool, business center. When I search those amenities I get Caesars($221), Tropicana($159), and Westin($159). I'd love to just book the deal but I don't want to get stuck with Westin as I have family staying at NYNY and Excalibur. Also, when I searched the South Strip Vicinity it looks like Westin is part of East of Strip and not South but I could be wrong.Should I book the express deal and hope its Tropicana or should I bid and try and get a better deal?Cheers,Oscar Link to comment
yellowdog
Welcome "officially" to BetterBidding. The current information we have is that the Westin is zoned for East of Strip. But zones and ratings can change at anytime. You can try to undercut the price with bidding 4* in the South zone. And have in mind that the 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal don't have to be Tropicana.Let us know your thoughts and we'll go from there. Please use the board's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases and searchesYellowdog.PS. Please remember to follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing,. Even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. Link to comment
djoz187
Thanks for the info yellowdog!I'm already staying at Excalibur 5/24 & 5/25, I'm touring a timeshare and got my room comped. I'd love to just stay at Excalibur again but the room rates are about $130 direct and Priceline looks to be about the same. Should I try and bid to get for a lower rate or should I go with the Express deal? If bidding, what's the best way to go about this. And of course I'll be sure to click the link and report my win. yellowdog
The odd numbers on the resort fee indicates that this amount is with tax.I can't get the same PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel to appear on my search. Can you please run a new search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your searchThanx for using boards PRICELINE link :) Yellowdog. Link to comment
