Discovered that there was a 4 star in the Museum Quarter - Rai Centre for $60 using Priceline's EXPRESS DEALS. I was a little concerned about how far from the centre this area appeared, especially if the hotel was in the south corner of Area 4. I assumed that anywhere in Amsterdam would have good public transportation, so decided to try bidding. Bid $51, was rejected. Used a free zone to raise the bid to $53. Accepted.$53 x 4 = $212 + $32.60 = $244.60.And of course it is right at the south end of area 4. Link to comment
