Looking for a hotel in Atlanta Perimeter area. 3 stars or up. Fri June 14-Sun June 16

There are 4 free rebid areas ( 2 1/2 stars or less...Chamblee, Forest Park, Jones.., Morrow)

Hilton Garden Inn -$89

Hyatt Place - $74

Rsidence Inn - $89

La Quinto $75

Went there year and half ago and stayed at Hilton Garden Inn via Priceline for $41.

Any bidding suggestions? Thanks!

So we don't suggest a strategy that goes higher then you're willing to spend, what is your maximum bid for this trip?

Let us know the above and well advise accordingly.

SONESTA ES SUITES ATLANTA - $49.

Oh crap...this is what one gets for trying to nickel and dime Priceline deal.

I have a sense Priceline credibility is going down...reserving deals for their "Express" option. Howtire 3* was $54 (and now looking at Priceline express after the bid acceptance, they have a 3* for $55 with breakfast-Hyatt Place?)

Last week was not getting successful up to $42. Today, started bid at $45 for 3* in Perimeter...came back with counter offer at $56. Bid a few more times, with dollar increases using free rebid zones, and ended up at $49 with Sonesta Es Suites Atlanta ...who? Their 7 day prebook rate is $67...wow..big friggin deal. whopping 27% savings off some unknown place.

May only deal with Hotwire from now on..who knows.

None to pleased here.

You might take a look at the tripadvisor ratings. The hotel gets a 4 out of 5 there, with a lots of reviews. The relatively small number of the low 1 ratings all are 2012 or earlier. It might not be so bad.

Maybe you'd be kind enough to provide a review after your stay?

It does include free breakfast and some sort of happy hour and snacks.

Yes, it sounds good on paper. However upon calling the hotel about their renovations, which is roof, rooms, pool area..etc..they said the pool may not be ready and they weren't sure when that would be. It'll be hot in June when I'm there (with plenty of time to do nothing between the celebration affair attending), so I was counting on all of the 3* and above hotels in Perimeter area to have pools, and they all pretty much do, so this one to not be in service will be disappointing. Happy hour is only tuesday-thursday (so the weekend's a bust :).

Long story short, I worked something out with PL :)
