spartyjenn
Hi,Would like some suggestions. I am trying to book a 5* resort, 2 rooms for the weekend of 6/7-6/10. I already have reservations at Mandalay Bay for $140 a night 6/7 and 6/8, but $319 a night on 6/9. So am searching for a better deal. After reading through some posts, I clicked the link and attempted North Strip, 5* for $75. PL did not accept my bid. I am willing to wait the 24 hours, but want to have a better opportunity at getting accepted. I do not have a preference about North or South Strip 5*, just do not want Trump or Vdara ;)...suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thank you Link to comment
yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding :) Are you just looking for a better deal for 6/9 or is it for your complete stay? You can't avoid a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select. So if Vdara is a no, just don't bid for the South zone at all.If you don't want to stay at Trump so only use the Strip North zone. Please post your budget/night before tax/fee's and we'll be happy to help you with a bidding strategy. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog. thereuare
Some quick 'back of the napkin' math it looks like your 3 nite stay is ~$200/nite? If so, PRICELINE EXPRESS currently has a 5* hotel in the Strip North zone (with Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, Free Parking, Business Center, Casino, Fitness Center) for $132/nite which would appear to be cheaper than your current reservation.Use this PRICELINE EXPRESS link and code READYSET5 for an extra 5% off... does this work for your needs? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. spartyjenn
I am looking for a place that we can stay for all 3 nights that is reasonable. For some reason the Sunday night at Mandalay is $319, so I was hoping to get a better deal for that night, but also a better price for the other 2 nights as well. I guess we can't go wrong with the express deal, but was hoping to be able to get the best deal possible ($100-$125/per night average?)...do you think it is possible to get that on priceline? Appreciate all your advice and assistance! Link to comment
yellowdog
The PRICELINE EXPRESS deal is $125 with the discount but you can try to undercut the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal with bidding for the North zone.Would you like to roll the dice for a 5* in the Strip North zone maximum $125/night?Please use the board's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases and searchesYellowdog.
