victoorious
Hey guys,I usually like to bid in the NORTH STRIP because i'm comfortable staying at the Palazzo, Venetian or Wynn. But I would really love to stay at either Aria or Cosmo. But I noticed if I were to choose south strip, Vdara could be one of my options. Is there any way to target Aria or Cosmo with out Vdara??Thanks Link to comment
yellowdog
You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select. If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive. For reported HOTWIRE hotels see this link: Hotwire Las Vegas HotelsLet us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
I'll add to the above that if you're trying to avoid the Vdara, which doesn't have a casino, both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS should be 'safe' by purchasing any hotel that lists a Casino amenity. (NOTE: it may not be the Aria or Cosmo and could be some other 5* hotel that offers a casino... but it won't be the Vdara since that property doesn't offer a casino)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. catcatray
I can't see the amenity list on priceline, I want to make sure the hotel has casion also! Link to comment
Romelle
While PRICELINE bidding, you have to click on a zone before the amenity lists show. Try clicking the Strip North zone to see examples of the Casino amenity.RomellePS - if you are getting ready to bid, I'd suggest you start your own thread in order to get specific advice and also to help other members. thereuare
You'll only see amenity via PRICELINE EXPRESS (not 'bidding' PRICELINE) or HOTWIRE...On PRICELINE ('name your own price') the guaranteed amenities are not for a specific hotel but rather amenities that apply to all hotels of that star rating in the zone. Since the Strip South zone contains 5* hotels that don't have a casino, you won't ever see that listed as a 'guaranteed amenity' when selecting the 5* Strip South zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
