bluepig
Using your HOTWIRE link, I found:5/24-5/25 4* Scottsdale, AZ area$71/nightFree Parking Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Any thoughts on what hotel this could be? The alternative option for us for these dates is a $71/night quote on Hotwire for what looks to be the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Central Phoenix; while the price is comparable, this one appears to have an $18 resort fee, so that’s less attractive. On further investigation -- the details page for this Scottsdale area hotel also suggests there is a resort fee. thereuare
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort would be my best guess for this one. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. bluepig
We decided we wanted to avoid the resort fees associated with the 4* level hotels. Ended up booking a 3* in Scottsdale Old Town for 5/24-5/25 using your HOTWIRE link, $64/night ($80 after taxes).Amenities listed:Free Parking Free Breakfast Pool(s)High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deafAccessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroomHandicapped parking Roll-in showerBased on your hotels list I thought this was definitely the Hyatt Place, but it was actually the Holiday Inn Express. This is a new hotel listing at the 3* level, so suggest you add to the Hotwire hotels list. Not as excited just due to the Holiday Inn name, but based on Tripadvisor reviews it should be fine. One issue -- this is the second or third time my experience with Hotwire itself hasn't been great -- the current going rate for a non-refundable reservation with this property is $73, so I effectively saved only $9 per night (vs the $18/night I would have saved if this were the Hyatt Place). Oh well. Thanks! Link to comment

thereuare
Based on your hotels list I thought this was definitely the Hyatt Place, but it was actually the Holiday Inn Express.Quite a few of these amenities (not just the new 'accessible' amenities) have not been seen to be associated with the Hyatt Place, and some amenities associated with the Hyatt Place are not seen in the amenities of this HOTWIRE offer, so that could be have a been tip-off that this may not have been the Hyatt Place. Feel free to ask for help and/or confirmation of the hot.offer before your next opaque purchase and we'll try to offer a second look/opinion of what you think you may be getting and you'll be better able to weigh the deal before your purchase. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Enjoy your stay.
