Wildbucs
Hello. I'm planning a trip to Chicago from July 18th - 21st. I'm aware that is a peak season for Chicago, but would like to ask when do you think is a good time to bid at priceline? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Link to comment

I would like a 4*, around Millenium Park, and staying 2 adults. I was thinking about $100 a night. Link to comment
AaronJB
You could try starting at $85 and moving up by $5's, but given the rates I'm seeing, I think a 4* in the Loop zone will likely require around $115-125.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. I made a reservation in February for a suite at a 3.5* hotel in The Loop for $145. I don't think $100 is going to cut it for a 4 star hotel midsummer in the loop... more likely you're looking at $170 or so via Name Your Own Price. Link to comment

During these date/s, there's a 4* in the Loop and Mag Mile areas for $140 - while it may take a hair more than $125 for a 4* bidding, I'd be surprised if by too much.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
