thereuare
You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for... nor that the hotel you're hoping for will be offered for your dates. As per your topic title is the Cosmopolitan preferred or is this the only hotel you're willing to accept? What is your target budget for your trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and please click each of these link before replying)Thanks. tv.chamathil
The Cosmopolitan isn't the only hotel I would stay at, but I do want 5* with Casino. I noticed two options available on HOTWIRE at the moment. One is for $123/night but has no Casino (I think this is Vdara) and there is another for $136/night...which I believe is either Aria or Cosmopolitan. I wouldn't mind staying at Aria. There isn't necessarily a target budget, just want to be able to get the best price possible without having to pay the regular rates that are posted on the major sites. Let me know if this helps or if you need more info from me. Link to comment
AaronJB
In terms of PRICELINE, if you select a zone and star rating, you will see guaranteed amenities. South Strip 5*, when selected for these dates, does not show casino. 5* North does. With HOTWIRE, you can look for a listing in either zone where casino is listed as an amenity, and there is the 5* in Strip South that is showing with casino. If you are looking for South Strip only, then I would suggest going with the HOTWIRE listing that offers casino, as bidding on PRICELINE does not guarantee a casino. There is also a 5* in Strip South on the Express Deals side of PRICELINE for $134, and you can use the promo code SPRING for 5% off.Let us know which option sounds most appealing.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. tv.chamathil
We ended up booking directly through Vdara in a large suite that accommodated our large group. Link to comment
thereuare
Thank you for closing this thread with your decision. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. In the future please use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate booking when PRICELINE / HOTWIRE don't work for your needs. As well, we are also an affiliate of the MGM Grand properties which are accessible thru our Las Vegas Hotel Checker. Hope you had a good trip.
