Not sure I understand. I have read my messages and the links in the post you sent only sends me to the Hotwire page or the Priceline page. Am I missing something?

I get it now - click throughs. Thanks for the hotel guesstimate - I was thinking the same thing; we were hoping for Green Valley Ranch just because of the location closer to the strip, so I will probably just go book Green Valley Ranch directly and not risk a HOTWIRE buy for this trip.

If looking for an alternate to the strip, but still close by, you can try our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and search '1 mile (or 3 or 5 or more) from 'Las Vegas Strip'... use the filter feature to eliminate all the lower rated hotels from the map and it will be easy to see your options as far as how much a hotel nearby will cost and how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR closer/further from your ideal location.
