The Island Hotel matches the amenity set for the Newport Beach property so that would be my best guess for this one.

The Resort at Pelican Hill would be my guess for the Laguna Beach property.

Using the HOTWIRE link on this site, your guess proved to be correct! I opted for the 5* Newport Coast-Laguna Beach-Dana Point Area hotel, and it was The Resort at Pelican Hill. The price was $253 ($297.60 with fees) for one night, 4/9-4/10. Looking forward to it. As always, thanks for your assistance.
