I got this bid on my 4th try. I first checked the PRICELINE website and saw how much the prices were for the area and star rating for certain hotels. I was aiming for under $120/night after calculating in tax. I also wanted a 4 star in the Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area or the North Michigan Ave - River North Area.

Started at 4* with Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area at $85 - Rejected

Added North Michigan Ave - River North Area at $88 - Rejected

Added Franklin Park Area (Re-Bid Zone) at $91 - Rejected

Added Hyde Park (Re-Bid Zone) at $94 - Accepted :D

Very nice win for this Kimpton boutique, which was renovated a couple years ago. I'll also offer a minor suggestion, if you walk West of the hotel a few blocks you get to the Ogilvie Transportation Center. In a lower area under the station is a fairly large French Market (http://www.frenchmarketchicago.com/) if you want to browse around.
