DetroitMike
Hi everybody. This is my first post but I can't guess how many times I've used this forum--it's absolutely awesome. I need help identifying a hotel in Miami Beach:4*, Best Value $67 for 9/21-9/23.Amenities: Beachfront, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center. This matches The Palms, but that is zoned in South Beach (unless it's been re-zoned, it is north of South Beach.) The Palms' rate for these days is $119.Is there ANY chance this is the Sheraton Bal Harbour? That's what I'm hoping for. The Bal Harbour rate for these days is $129.Thanks so much in advance!Mike Link to comment
shammes53
I believe you are indeed looking at the Palms, which on the Hotwire Florida List appears to be in the South Beach zone. It could be, as you stated, that these zones have been adjusted. Perhaps someone else has information on this. Link to comment
thereuare
The Palms is between 30th-31st Street and current dividing line between South Beach/Miami Beach is 23rd Street... so there has been some sort of re-zoning in this area, and the above hotel is most likely The Palms. Please do realize that this board only 'works' if users post and share their winning bid information... it is discouraging to read that you have used this site many times, yet this is your first post. :) Given your specifc situation, think about if somebody had already won this hotel in the Miami Beach zone, but like you, didn't feel the need to post? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
