Champagnetaste
Hello,I'm new to Priceline and am having some difficulty getting a 4 star hotel in Copley- Back Bay. I have bid all the way up to $170 using the rebid zones Brighton, Dorchester, Fenway, Medford, North Arlington, South Boston.Am I trying too early to find something? Or is there a particular reason I'm not finding anything for under 170?Any assistance would be gratefully received. Thanks Link to comment
AaronJB
I don't think you're too early - rates vary by date and unfortunately, these date/s look quite busy. Considering HOTWIRE rates, I'd guess a 4* in the core zones of downtown Boston are probably going to be more in the $220-260 neighborhood, depending. Are there any alternate zone/s that would be acceptable? I'd say 3.5*, but unfortunately, from the looks of prices, a 3.5* could also likely require a $200+ bid.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. crito
Yeah, Boston ComicCon, I think that's going to make prices extraordinarily high, and the Copley area might be impossible (the event is at the Hynes Convention Center). You might do a little better further away (Quincy Market area or Cambridge), but the whole town will be pricey. Link to comment
