EDIT TO ADD: i just realized that i stayed at this property once awhile back... we were in town on a cruise ship stop and got a room here so the kids could use the pool, walk the beach, and to spend time with family who live in Florida and drove to meet us during our port day. For the area it's on a nice piece of beach that didn't get crowded at all despite the nice weather we had... pool area was small but the kids enjoyed it and there is a bar next to the pool. They had a good happy hour at the restaurant inside the hotel (i don't think they had happy hour outside by the pool area). We ate dinner at the restaurant and they handled our large party well (i think there was about 14 of us in total) but the food was 'typical' hotel food and not a great value for the money.
