Mexico Cancun Sheraton Resort and Towers

Won this in a radio contest and not through priceline. But noticed it was won in some bids last year, so thought i'd post a review.

The positives were really positive: crawling distance to the beach, hardly anyone there so was really private, gorgeous double sized pool that was really warm, warm and friendly staff, exquisite lobby, across street from La Isla Mall (upsscale mall, but several reasonable eating alternatives), bus that comes every 5 minutes runs right out front, cute little iguanas that populate the forest area around hotel

The negatives: I stayed in the Towers section (they're closing Resort area next week for renovations): rooms slowly going downhill, very noisy hallways since they're marble, small double beds that are a tight fit for families, bathroom a bit undesirable

However at priceline rates and for free! it's PERFECT!!
