Priceline Hotel: 4* Hollywood bid up to $97 without win 2/19-20

Used free 4* rebid zones of culver, inglewood, lawndale and usc with no success. Tuesday is not a holiday and its expected to rain, so I thought we would get an easy win.

Any advice?

I'd gladly add west hollywood/beverly hills as we'd really prefer to stay in weho, but it includes century city and it seems people have been mostly winning hotels there. We don't want to stay in century city.

any advice is appreciated. I used the bb link to PRICELINE as always!

Please follow-up your Priceline Las Vegas and your Priceline Cabo San Lucas threads with whatever you ended up doing for each of those stays, then reply to this thread and we'll have a look at your trip above.

Well, its today and we dont want to spend more than $100 all in if possible.

This late in the game you don't want to set your maximum bid at what you want to spend, but rather as a comparison to what you will end up spending if your bids are rejected.

So you need to figure out what you will pay if you're not successful with PRICELINE... then determine how much you want to bid based upon that 'next best alternative'. Your next best option may be another opaque offer (HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS) at which point you may want a smaller discount (10%??) to make a PRICELINE purchase worthwhile (since your other options are opaque as well)... or it may be a retail listing at which point you would want a bigger discount (25%??) to make a PRICELINE bid worthwhile (since your other option is a 'known' hotel)

Also, please list your maximum bid in terms of bid price before taxes and fees.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed (maximum bid and acceptable zones) and we'll take it from there.

This may be a tough win at $90 but to give it a try:

When bidding 4* in the Los Angeles area you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* Hollywood...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
