Be sure to know they have about $30-$40 in additional fees that are mandatory between "resortfee" and parking at the Omni.

HOTWIRE is showing Seaworld I drive south for your dates 4* for $76 a night.

As someone who goes to Disney a ton (usually a full weekend a month and 1 or 2 day trips) I usually bid in the 4* sea world catagory on PRICELINE and can get a spot for half the asking price of this hotel plus most of them have little to no resort fee and parking is much cheaper.

Shingle Creek is a usual spot for me from PRICELINE usually under $60 a night with no resort fee and I believe parking is around $10, its free if you or someone traveling with you is legally disabled.

its also right off the expressway so i can be turning onto Disney property in 15 mins of leaving the hotel.

Bottom line start bidding on PRICELINE at $45 4*only and go up in $5 increments until you snag it, with 4* there are lots of free rebid zones. Just make sure none have resorts that dont have 4*.

I'm trying to snag the Shingle Creek for 2/22/13-2/24/13. I used PRICELINE 2 trips ago and got it, however the previous trip I got placed in the Westin Imagine. I'm worried that bidding on PRICELINE will stick me there again since traditional rates for the Westin are so low ($120 a night for my dates).

HOTWIRE is also showing a four star hotel in the Lake Buena Vista zone that includes a suite with competitor rates being $359. The amenities list is nearly identical to the caribe royale and I definitely don't want to get stuck there. However the competitor rate and the fact that HOTWIRE is "still gathering user reviews for this hotel" suggests it might be the Villas at Grand Cypress since they just renovated. 119 would be a steal for this hotel. Anyone have suggestions?

Please start a new thread for your stay and we would be happy to offer suggestions. As for the "retail price" on HOTWIRE, as noted in the fine print, it's not the retail price for the underlying hotel, it's an average of comparable properties in the area for the same dates.

Additionally, sharing prior wins as separate threads would be greatly appreciated.
