lfras
If it were on Priceline, I'm pretty sure that it would be the Makena Golf Resort, which is south of the Wailea hotels. It is somewhat older and does not have a fancy pool area like the Wailea hotels (Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, Fairmont, Marriott), but it is right on a great, quiet beach. It is a reasonably priced alternative to the others, and it is a little farther drive if you're sightseeing. On the other hand, it's very close to the several golf courses in Wailea and Makena. There are a number of good restaurants nearby, too, including my favorite, "Gannon's". Good luck. Link to comment
