Opted to bid $11 for a compact which was also denied, then bid $15 for a Standard car. Successful;,car through Alamo, if I booked through Alamo it would have been $168.87, but through Priceline it was only $73.52.This rental corresponds with a hotel I booked for the same weekend (and previously posted about). Although I am quite happy with the hotel, they don't offer an airport or MOA shuttle so I figured a car would be cheaper than taking cabs back and forth. Used PRICELINE link from this site for both bookings.It will be interesting as I'm used to booking directly through Hertz as I have their Gold membership, but the savings going this way is too significant.
