ufjoe21
Yes, you made your reservation thru a 3rd party, not Wyndham directly therefore you can't earn any reward points or garner any membership perkssame with Hilton, Hyatt, and every other hotel chain............whenever you book other than calling the hotel directly, going thru the hotel website, or going thru the hotel chain's website/phoneusually they let you gain points for purchasing onther things during your stay, i.e. movies, restaurants, hotel services, etc.I believe in the very early days of priceline, people got around this because priceline and other online hotel systems were pretty new, but now the hotel lists this policy on their websites and when I tried to get points for a Hyatt stay thru priceline with their Gold Passport program I was actually mailed a letter explaining why I couldn't get points for my stay----nice PRICE!!!Wyndham is a mixed bag for sure....check out the reviews we have of it here Review of Wyndham Palace Resort and Spa Link to comment

Triptrekker
Wow, that is good to know about the membership benefits. I was not aware of that policy.I'm surprised that the hotel is sold out now. I bid on the property on August 8. I read the mixed reviews on Monday after my bid was accepted but I'm hoping for the best. :) Link to comment
