Priceline Hotel: 5* North Strip

I'd like to bid 5* North Strip for 11/8-11/12/12 with the hope of getting either The Venetian or Palazzo.

I'm seeing bidders having success recently for these two hotels.

What I want to avoid is the Trump.

I understand the bidding strategy for none 5* zones, but I believe the Trump falls under the 5* North Strip zone?

Any suggestions?

Currently the Trump is in the Las Vegas Strip Vicinity North zone... which is different then the Strip North zone which has the Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, etc, so you should be able to successfully avoid the Trump by sticking with the Strip North zone (and not including the Strip North Vicinity in your bidding)

The best price I've seen on other websites for the Venetian and Palazzo for these dates is in the $175.00/night range plus tax & resort fees.

My maximum I'd bid right now is $150.00/night, my dates are 11/8-11/12/12, 4-nights.

Do you think this property is either the Venetian, Palazzo or Wynn?

If i were to take a guess i'd think the Venetian is slightly more likely than the other two, but you should be prepared for any of these as all fit the criteria listed above.

I booked directly with the Palazzo  as that is the hotel that we decided we wanted to stay at.

In the future let us know what it is that you are looking for as we can spend the time looking for that specific property (and it often takes less time to figure out what a property isn't and exlude it from the possibilities than to continue research and figure out what it may be)
