dosstx
Hi all, I'm sort of "homeless" at the moment, so I'm getting ready to do some Priceline bidding in a bit to hopefully snag a decent hotel (in my case, 4 star:)). I was doing some tests and I discovered that if I stay 21 nights in a row, the total fees per night (taxes, etc) was $8/night. If I were to stay only 6 nights in a row, the total fees per night came out to be $9/night. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.Yes, typically the longer the stay the lower the fee per nite, but a longer stay could also make it more difficult to score a winning bid since the hotel needs to have loaded deeply discounted rates for the entire length of stay. For a 21 nite stay, if the hotel has even just one nite that is not available, or has higher then usual rates due to increased demand, it could effect your ability to get the lowest possible price. If you'd like help with your bidding, or to post a win of your purchase, please start a NEW TOPIC in the appropriate state category on the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
