Smully-p
Looking to bid for a 5* hotel, late october weekend, have plenty of time to bid, wondering a good price to start at before free re-bids, i know prices are going for over $200 per night on priceline, hotwire has a price 133 per night. Thanks for any help. Link to comment
Smully-p
Started bidding on 5* north strip, $60, denied, then added zone 1 went to 62, denied, added zone 3 went to $64, denied. I kept adding zones until i got to $70, all denied. I know these were all long shots, i figured that I had until October to finalize my lodging. Will restart in 48 hours to try again. Any suggestions on start bids for Friday, Oct 19th-Monday Oct. 22nd? Link to comment

thereuare
While i understand your previous Strip North bids were lowball offers, they would only be accepted for weekend nites in October if there was a price mistake. When bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. Romelle
FYI - You can bid every 24 hours now. But it has to be a full 24 hours. I usually wait an extra few minutes just to be sure, since it is so frustrating to get locked out and have to rewait. On the other hand, bidding every other day has the benefit of not having to watch that clock.Romelle Link to comment
Smully-p
Looking to book up a room for the North or South Strip, 4* and 5* hotel. Was getting varied prices, been booking through the links on the website. I did get a 5* in north strip at $133.00, I am thinking that is Trump, 5* south strip at $138.00 no casino so I am thinking for Vdara. What would be the 4.5* no casino on the South strip at $170.00. Curious as I am not finding any 4.5 star on the hotwire hotel list here on betterbidding.com Link to comment

AaronJB
Please keep all posts regarding this stay within this thread. Unfortunately, this 4.5* property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board (a few have in this zone, but this is not a match for any), but does show a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page when I search, so it does get excellent reviews.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Smully-p
I have been trying for about a week or two now, and trying the north and south strip, 5* hotels. I have seen on hot-wire, 148 a night, and with taxes it going for $512 for the 3 nights (no casino so I figured it was Vdara). Otherwise, best I have been able to find for the weekend on the north or south strip, 5* was $615 on Vegas.com, all of these are at Vdara, Palazzo and Venetian, Cosmo, were all considerably more. This morning, I started at $110 per night, and I advanced to 135 per night. Last one, I added north zone and south zone strip, put 140 as my last offer of the day and it was accepted at Vdara. $140 was the max I was going to bid, I may have been able to get it cheaper if I had waited.140 per night420 for the three nights485.67 with taxesLooking forward to the trip, looking forward to trying the $20 dollar trick for an upgrade.
