thereuare Posted August 9, 2012 Report Share Posted August 9, 2012 Using BiddingHelper.com or MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to get thru conventional booking channels?Keep in mind that many hotels will likely be at or near fully capacity on their own for the New Year's Eve holiday, so there may be little reason to offer the opaque providers any inventory for this nite, or what they do give them, may not be discounted too deeply... is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?Lastly, how set are you on a 5* hotel... HOTWIRE has what appears to be the very well reviewed 4.5* Royal Plaza on Scotts (with a 4.5/5.0 TA rating and high reviews from previous HOTWIRE guests) for $146/nite.
