Priceline Hotel: Albany NY

I tried booking a room for August 26 Friday. This is a busy weekend in Albany as many of the local colleges have move-in day.

I started bidding 3* at $49 for ALB airport, along with free re-bids; all the way down to 1* to include all areas in the various Albany zones. My highest bid got all the way to $63; and still no hotel was taking the bid in any zone. :)

I've reported past bids at $50 and $62 on betterbidding in this area.

Finally, rather than wait 3 days, I opened my Entertainment Book and made some calls.

Did you know that the Crowne Plaza in Albany has a $65 rate available? :)

I've stayed at this property; and it's 3* plus in my opinion.
