OfficeJet Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Was looking for a resort in Maui from 8/25 ~ 29 thru Priceline.A tip from below - check Hotwire first and use as a guideline (priceline price is 10-15% cheaper than Hotwire) - actually worked!Last Sunday, I bid from $170 to $205 - no luck. Lowest 4-star hotel price from Hotwire was $235 - but I didn't want to pay over $200.Today I checked Hotwire again, and another 4-star hotel suddenly appeared @ $153. (Looks like Hyatt from amenities list)So I bid $140 in Priceline and won!Would like to thank everybody for all the tips / helps. Link to comment
