I'm looking to find a 4 * hotel in the loop area.

I started off with a bid of 90 and I was rejected. I went up to to 110 and still no luck. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem for the same dates. Hotwire has a 3.5 star in the loop district for $122. It is the Central Loop Hotel

Is the Loop the only acceptable zone or will the NMA-River North zone also work for your needs?

Is $110 your maximum bid? If you continue to be turned down at $110 would you next step be to increase your budget OR lower your star rating?

This particular weekend is unusually busy and not sure exactly why - the Air/Water show is happening and while that's big, it usually generates primarily local traffic that doesn't result in much hotel traffic. There is a mild convention which may be driving up rates somewhat. For a 4* in the Loop, I think you're likely looking at $115-125, but I wouldn't go much higher than that - the 4* Hilton in this zone is $143 on the regular rate side of HOTWIRE.
