matthew_k Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 Had been watching for a few days, the HOTWIRE bottom rate dropped from ~$35 to $18 today, figured it was time to get something locked in.Attempted a convertible first, $55 on HOTWIRE, bid $35 on PRICELINE, was rejected. Never hurts to try.Lowered our hopes, bid on a full size at $18 when HOTWIRE's price was $20. Was advised to raise the bid, but stuck with $18 and was accepted. Wanted to go through PL over Hotwire to avoid Enterprise. $31.30 per day out the door, total saving $130 compared to the cheapest kayak price.Used the PRICELINE links on the board for bidding, thanks for making this great resource available!
