So, as a last resort (to paying $164 a night for a 2* hotel), I tried DFW South. First try for a 3* at $42 per night, received a counter offer for $56. Continued to use free bid zones until $51 was finally accepted. Cost for 11 nights at 51 = $561, plus $93.17 in taxes and fees for a total of $654.17. Link to comment
