Also - in your expert opinion, do you agree that a Midtown Central property that has a 70% on its Hotwire review is likely to be a loser property? It's listed as 4* for $290.

As far as the MTC property i wouldn't draw any conclusions based upon a 70% recommendation from previous guests (it raises a flag to investigate further, but i wouldn't write it off)... what are the full list of amenities associated with this property?

My best guess for this one would be the Millennium Broadway... distant second guess of the Flatotel (if it has been upgraded since last reported to the board... no evidence of such but just mentioning as a possibility)

Ok. That was wierd.

Hotwire went through all the steps (including credit card) then declined my reservation. A new search didn't show the Royalton.

I checked via Expedia.com and same thing happen.

I couldn't find that rate anymore on booking.com and some other site.

I did get that rate at hotels.com.

I regret that I was unable to use your link to reserve this hotel. Perhaps the "Only 3 more rooms left" REALLY meant that they were selling out. Plus, it displayed that 17 others are looking at this rate.
