Pikin Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 I had won this hotel at $36 almost 2 weeks ago on a different stay.Decided to see if this hotel can be won at lower bids. Started the bid at $35, bid rejected.Added Toronto downtown as a 'free' rebid at $36, the bid was accepted. Taxes and fees are $10.38, to a total of $46.38.Just wanted to add a note that Toronto downtown is not technically a free rebid zone for 3* (Scarborough is a free rebid for the 3* level) because there are 3* hotels in that zone. However, the lowest winning bids historically are much higher than the $36 that can be had around the airport area. So for free rebidding purposes, for me, Toronto downtown is a free rebid zone for this level. Link to comment
