ongkenyong
Was looking for a 3* hotel near the themeparks, 3 nights 9/12/05 to 9/15/05. Four free rebid zones meant many attempts possible each 72 hour period. Started bidding at $34 going all the way up to $50 without success. Price after taxes would have been $59. Decided to stop there as there are many decent hotels in that area for that price range. You gain the benefits of direct bookings which in my opinion outweighs the marginal savings. Posting this for members who may share similar thoughts.I'm a big Marriott chain fan (platinum member) and you can get the Fairfield Inn for $69 after taxes. Excellent reviews at tripadvisor. As there are 4 of us travelling, decided to go for the guaranteed 2 double bed suites at Springhill Suites for $79 after taxes. Even better reviews at tripadvisor. And yes, I did make my reservation via the Betterbidding support page to support this friendly forum. Link to comment
