Priceline Hotel: 3* St. Petersburg-Clearwater (St. P Beach) Sirata

Hotwire has two St. Petersburg hotels listed. 9/17/05-9/20

1. 3* $97 Beachfront,Restaurant, pool,fitness center, tennis near by, busines center

2. 3* $115 Beachfront, pool

Any ideas on either of these hotels?

As Hotwire will only show you one hotel at each star level, is one of these a condo property or perhaps in a different zone within the greater St. Petersburg area?

They're both in St. Petes Beach/Treasure Island?

If so, i think one would have to be a Condo property or not 3* rated.

#2 is 2 1/2 * Poor eyesite the half star looked like a whole

Neither of the two hotels above have been identified.

The Bimar and the Sirata are rated 3* by Hotwire, and have the amenities above, but also have additional amenties, so they're not a match, but i wouldn't 100% rule them out either.

I'd also throw the Tradewinds Sandpiper into the mix as it seems to offer the amenties above as well.

Sorry can't be much more help than that... no guess on the 2.5* as there really isn't much to go on.

Decided to go with priceline. Ended up with the Sirata for $80 per night. Pleased with this price.
