lakegran75
3 1/2 * Washington, Foggy Bottom / Dupont Circle area, Marriott, $70.00 per night for 8 nights Great old hotel, no complimentary breakfast but everything else I look for when choosing a hotel.I tried 5 times over 1 week I actually narrowed my search after carefully reading about neighborhoods etc. but also lowered my "star" rating...asked for, and received, 3 1/2 stars Honestly I am astonished...... at this point I was really just testing the waters, my stay is not until October. I did take the trip insurance, to cover illness etc.I have always found great big city hotels at wonderful prices with priceline. Link to comment

lakegran75
I booked a room through priceline. The reservation can be cancelled up until October. My question is Do I need to cancel through both priceline and the hotel? I have since booked through Priceline's 'name your own price'. I found a much better fit for me. Link to comment
