Hey all,

I lurked around here for help on how to bid using priceline :) . The information from this board definitely helped me, so I figure the least I could do was to post my win for a pre-cruise stay in Miami.

first bid: $53 for a 3* in Miami - Downtown

Bid rejected.

Rebid $46 for a 2 1/2* Miami - Downtown

Bid accepted.

after taxes, etc. the total ended up being $59 and some change for one room in Jan. 06. The hotel is the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Miami. It is not perfect, but will work fine for a one night stay before going a cruise. This was my first, but definitely not my last time using priceline.

Thanks for creating this board man. I will definitely use this whenever I need to bid for a room and report my experience.
