thereuare
I think you're right that $200 may not be enough for these dates in either of these zones, but to give it a try...At the 4* level in NYC you have SEVEN re-bid zones. belindai
I used the BB links. I used 7 re-bid zones $125 to $180 for 4* Soho Tribeca. UnsuccessfulBid 4* Soho Tribeca and Times Square using re-bid zones, $185 - $205. Unsuccessful. Not sure how much higher to go for a win. Link to comment
thereuare
I think you may be successful for a 4* if you're willing to include UWS and/or Downtown in your bidding... are these, or any other midtown zones, acceptable? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. belindai
I just booked a cancellable reservation through hotels.comMondrian Soho$195+tax = $228 / night5/7-5/11I think this is better than bidding on Priceline. Do you? Link to comment
thereuare
Looks like a nice deal if you're not able to get anything in midtown at $200 or less via PRICELINE.If you didn't, please note that we're an affiliate of Hotels.com as well as most other major hotel chains and online booking agencies, please check for and use the links in our Support Page for your non-opaque purchases.Let us know if you make any headway with PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. bob99
That's a sweet deal! I've been bidding on PRICELINE all week, but haven't booked anything. Out of curiosity, how did you get that deal on hotels.com? I never seem to be able to find anything good on there! Link to comment
belindai
Can you please close this thread.I am sticking with the Mondrian Soho booked through hotels.comI didn't have any luck bidding on Priceline up to $205 in times square and soho, so very happy with the hotels.com rate $195+tax, less than I was bidding. It must have been just a one day sale as I was bidding the day before and checking hotels and didn't see it, then the next day booked it as soon as I saw it, checked back the day after and was no longer available on hotels and gone up to $465 on Priceline Link to comment
AaronJB
Thank you for closing the thread. I think you definitely lucked out with the hotels.com price, which may have been a mistake. Please use the site's Support Page links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
