Would have liked Embassy suites(with atleast free breakfast since parking is going to be expensive)but don`t think thats available for the dates.

The City Center West property matches previous reports for the Sheraton City, while the City Center East property is a match for the Radisson Plaza Warwick, so these would be my best guess for each.

Thanks for your help-got Sheraton. Actually changed date and will stay 11th-14th April $82/night-2 rooms total with taxes $572.

The City Center West property matches previous reports for the Sheraton City,

Watch out here. There is actually no hotel called the "Sheraton City". Rather, there are:

- Sheraton University City

- Sheraton Center City

- Sheraton Philadelphia City Center

and maybe others as well with Sheraton and City in the name.

These are all different.

This hotel turned out to be the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center.

When you look at the Hotwire maps associated with Center City East and Center City West-University, they are exactly the same map. Yes -- exactly the same; it's not just that they overlap in the middle. This hotel is in the middle, which is fine.

Having said all that, I think we will enjoy our visit. The hotel appears to be in a very good area for what we plan to do. It's at 17th and Race, midway between CIty Hall and the Museum.

I've exchanged email with Hotwire about this.

It turns out that if you select the hotel first and look at the map on the hotel page, you will see different maps depending on the area.

But if you look at the listing for many hotels, and select the "Area map" link to the right of the price, then you get the same map for both areas. This is what I was doing when I made the above observation.
