Priceline Hotel: 3* Ontario Hilton Airport

As posted elswhere I booked ONT Hilton 2 days ago for 7/15 @ $ 69. Needed anther night in the area for 7/16.

The bidding process:

Riverside: $ 35 > no good

+ Riverside West: $ 45 > no good

Logged out / in:

Ontario: $ 35 > no good

PL "one-time" reply + $ 9 = $44 > accepted

Decided not to counteroffer/forgo the $9 ad-on as I sensed this could be the Hilton allowing to stay at the same hotel for 2 nights.

Now I feel better and for the first time get a little bit of that "BetterBidder" feeling! :)

What to expect?

There was a report on Travelocity, citing some rooms were pretty bad and the hotel was about to undergo a renovation. Any recent experiences?
