Hello, I'm working on booking the 2nd part of our trip now (my other inquiry is not booked quite yet).

I need some guidance with the following if you could help me please;

All are 8/21 - 8/25 and I used your HOTWIRE link

What is your goal/budget for this stay? Are you looking to stay within the city limits or commute in from a nearby suburb?

Have you consulted with the Hotwire Hotel List for any matches?

Our budget is $100 per night and the other must is that it has a pool and is close to Metro. We will have a rental car that we'll either return in DC when weyour arrive, or park at the hotel and just return it at the airport when we leave. Prefer not to drive unless a must.

Best guesses using your guide;

#1 - Westin Alexandria

#2 - Hilton Mark Center (the only difference is Hotwire lists golf nearby and your list does not)

#3 - Hyatt Regency Bethesda

#4 - Holiday Inn Historic District

#5 - Sheraton Herndon Dulles

The 4* Alexandria-Old Town property matches the Westin Alexandria so that would be my best guess for this one.

Best guess for the 3.5* Dupont Circle property is the Embassy Row Hotel (this was previously the Hilton Embassy Row hotel, not yet reported to the board under the new name/ownership).

The other properties don't seem like viable options as they are substantially over your budget, correct?

Actually, the later 3 on my list are within budget because the Hotwire price is at or below that $100 mark. It was just noting that they listed higher on other sites. Any guesses on those, or are my guesses close?

Also, any opinion if your familar with the area on which would be a better selection for us?

I live in DC area. If you don't want to drive, #5 is not an option for you. All the others are.

#1 - Westin Alexandria --> Walking distance to Metro

#2 - Hilton Mark Center --> Has free shuttle to Metro

#3 - Hyatt Regency Bethesda --> On top of the Metro

#4 - Holiday Inn Historic District --> Has shuttle to Metro

#5 - Sheraton Herndon Dulles --> No Metro

I need some help ID'ing options for our upcoming stay in August 22-25 for 2 adults and 2 kids; I tried to compare to wins and your list but was too far off the mark to really try to pin it down. Our musts are a pool and near metro, everything else is a bonus. I wanted to stay within a $130 budget per night.
