Damn it, I didn't notice it said "vicinity" and there was a separate area for north (they took off Condo), I was a little hasty.

But this should be ok :) It's a very pricy weekend because there's a fight. It was this or booking Luxor... which it's my friends first time in Vegas, I think this will be a little more impressive.

Any tips for this place? I've never been.

While not the hotel you were seeking for your friend's Vegas experience, hopefully this will work out ok... it's not really that far of a walk to the Wynn, and the hotel does offer shuttle service to other parts of the strip (i'm not sure what locations they pick-up/drop-off, but if heading central/south strip i'd take the shuttle)... if heading to Treasure Island/Mirage it's an easy walk by cutting thru the Fashion Show Mall. Also, in the Fashion Show Mall there is an ABC store where you can get reasonably priced drinks, sodas, snacks, etc. to bring to the room, and there is also a 'regular' priced Starbucks (two of them actually) which has lower prices than the casino based Starbucks locations.

Yea it's not terrible, and actually the more I think about it, it will be pretty great! I like that it's non smoking, and I'm sure and easy in and out. Besides it's better than what any of my other options were. I am driving in so driving isn't an issue. I'm glad I'm close to the mall, I LOVE fashion show.

I guess obviously my pie in the sky fantasy wins were Aria, Wynn or Venetian, but at $500 a night that weekend, I'll glady stay here instead!
