However, HOTWIRE indicates that this property has a 2.5/5.0 user review rate, which is quite low... is this something that would be acceptable to you? What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees and taxes) for this trip? Are any other zones acceptable?

We ended up getting the Courtyard by Marriot at Dupont Circle for $152 a night through PRICELINE. It was very handy to the city, but not worth the money IMO. I posted a lengthy review about it in Tripadvisor: 'Prime location, but not much else.'
