To clarify, this is a North Strip 4* - my original post text said South Strip accidentally.

I've searched on three different pcs and can't get that hotel to appear.

North Strip... one nite.

But maybe it's a moot point... you may be able to get the Venetian on Priceline for $99 for these dates... i think that would be worthwhile over any 4* hotel at $88, no? (or are you using an ENTERTAINMENT rebate?)

Yes, just those 6 things.

Tried for the Venetian on priceline ($70 first bid, then $80 for 5 star, expanding one zone), but all it will give me is a "raise your offer to $110."

No Entertainment rebates or anything, this is just coming up straight out on Priceline. Not sure if I'm going to try it or not, but if I do, I'll report back.

Don't take PLs counter offer if you still have rebids left. Just start a new bid with north strip and a zone that you have not used yet along with 5* and bid $99. The Venetian never comes up for less then $99 anymore. You can always beat PLs counter offer.

I think your previous bids are a waste of time... if you want to try for a 5* in Vegas i would bid $99.

Friend ended up getting a room at the Barbary Coast for something like $59/nt. Not a fantastic hotel, but not horrid, and the location was great.
