gulfgator33
But looking through the bids, it doesn't look like anyone has "won" itI would be happy with the Aria, not so much with Vdara. It appears to be a reasonable gambleDoes anyone have input on actual results? Link to comment
AaronJB
The Aria has been reported more often lately, but there was a time when the Aria was seen rarely. The Aria can be seen frequently as a win and then the Vdara can suddenly be seen. Overall, one has to be willing to accept any 5* when bidding 5* in the zone. Please let us know what you decide or please let us know date/s of travel and desired budget if you have any questions.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. gulfgator33
Thanks, I'm probably going to bid in the north zone, at least at the beginning, to be safe. Not completely sure I'm going, but if I bid, I will certainly use the site portals. Link to comment

MurtleCake
I stayed at Vdara over Christmas, and it's an AMAZING hotel, great service, really easy to get your car, great rooms. Also it's literally 20 steps away, across the driveway from Aria. It wasn't a big deal at all to walk over there to eat and gamble. Just for your information it's a great property! Also if I'm not mistaken isn't Vdara rated 4 star? Link to comment
thereuare
Vdara has always been 5* rated (at least as far as i can remember)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. MurtleCake
Says 4 diamond, 4 star on their website http://vdara.com/about/Could just be because of the lack of amenities. The rooms are definitely 5 star quality in my opinion. Link to comment
thereuare
Unfortunately there is no standard in the industry for star ratings and there is often little correlation between PRICELINE star ratings, AAA diamonds and the rating from any other service. yosmitesam
Vdara is great, try it if you haven't. Of course, everyone has their favorites, that's why there's more than one hotel. If we could get it every time we would.Beautiful rooms, great location, great staff. If a star rating is off, it may be a technicality, but it's not because of the rooms/staff/location. Link to comment
