Majimart
Hello All,I'm trying to find reasonable accommodation in the NYC area April 1- April 5. I was offered a 3* on Hotwire in the Long Island-Elmhurst area (not listed as an area on this site). The amenities are complimentary breakfast, fitness center, business center, high speed internet. It is offered at $103/night. Thanks again! Link to comment

Majimart
Hello,I've clicked on both links and performed the same search using the HOTWIRE link you provided. I hope that I've done everything right here--I have appreciated using this website very much in the past, and would like to continue doing so. Please let me know if you can offer me any help to ID the hotel above. Thanks again Link to comment
thereuare
'Long Island City - Elmhurst' is listed as a zone in the Hotwire Hotel List. The above matches previous reports for the Holiday Inn Express Maspeth so that would be my best guess for this one. However, i'll add that i would also look at the Jersey City area on PRICELINE where it think you can get a 4* hotel for a similar amount, but the area is nicer and the hotels are generally both new and well reviewed. Depending how you're arriving to the area (LGA or JFK) it may take you a bit longer and a bit more trouble to get to, but that would be my preference knowing each area.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Majimart
Never ended up going to Elmhurst. Did an apartment in Jersey City instead. Link to comment
