sunnyv Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 It is our first time in Las Vegas so we are "in the dark" as far as what location is best. I have read alot of reviews but I would really appreciate any input for our dates for the best hotel in a good location for the money. We would like to stay around $100 per night including taxes/fees. But if there was an exceptional hotel for a bit higher, then we would certainly consider that too. We will have our car, so we will need a hotel with parking. We will definitely use the betterbidding links to search and make our purchase. Your recommendations would be appreciated! thereuare Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 I'd suggest trying to stay on-strip as it will be more convenient and you're more likely to get an 'over the top' hotel that makes Vegas what it is.$100 all-in may be tough, but if you're willing to bid up to $100 i think you can get a 5* hotel on the Strip. However, you have to keep in mind that most Vegas hotels at this level charge ~$20 'resort fee' and hotel tax in Vegas is ~10%-12%. Perhaps trying up to $90 for a 5* hotel... would that be worth stretching your budget or do you prefer to try for something different at a lower price point?Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
