lapuravida
I am seeing an option for a 4* Property In Wailea, Maui for the dates 2/25 to 2/28. Does this actually exist or are you in effect bidding on a resort? Link to comment

thereuare
While we have not seen any 4* hotels reported to the board in this zone, there could always be hotel(s) not yet reported to the board, a new hotel recently added, or a hotel previously reported but at an upgraded/downgraded star level. It is always best to error on the side of caution and assume that if PRICELINE offers a star rating in a given zone then they do indeed have a hotel in that zone with this star rating. With 3 weeks to go before your trip, you certainly have enough time to bid and gradually increase your prices, so why take any unnecessary risks? Have already tried bidding? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. lapuravida
I'm bidding for relatives, I've bid up to $110 on a resort in Wailea. They have a points reservation at another resort, but if they can get something in that price range they would be happier saving their points for Europe. Will use the PRICELINE link. Link to comment
thereuare
At current prices i think $110 is going to be very tough to beat.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if we can be of further help along the way. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Lazycash
The Wailea Marriott has been going for less than $110, but mostly on reservations after April 1st. You could try for the 3.5 Makena Beach Resort in the Wailea area, but those dates are going to make it difficult as its peak whale watching season. Link to comment
lapuravida
I didn't end up winning a bid on this trip, they went a room at the Hyatt in Kaanapali. Link to comment
